A summary of our class trip for Lottie und Kiko (and anyone who cares to read it)

(For those who don’t know this yet: Lottie and Kiko are my two dogs.)

My dear furry companions, how have you been? As you already know, I just came back from my exciting class trip!

We did a lot of things. For example, we went shopping. At some point though, I missed home. What should I even start with? Well, let me tell you about the first day of the trip – Monday, April 28th.

At first, I wasn’t happy to leave my comfortable bed but there was no backing down! We walked into the school building with mixed feelings, though we were mostly excited. We got onto the bus and left for Stralsund. It was an one hour bus drive. I sat with my friend Safina and we chattered happily. I saw how excited she was, and her excitement was contagious.

Upon arrival, we left our suitcases at the youth hostel and went right to the Ozeaneum. Kiko, I’ve already told you what it is – basically, a large-scale aquarium with a lot of fish. Yes, I wish you could have come with me, too – it was great! Not sure if puppies are allowed there though…

After visiting the Ozeaneum, we had some time left to look around and spend some time together. We ate fries and some fish sandwiches. Yes, Lottie, it was yummy!

Then we took a took of a big ship named Gorch Fock.  It used to be a real ship, but it serves as a museum now. We walked around and took lots of funny pictures there. Some of us got scared and didn‘t like the ship. Of course I know you wouldn’t get scared, my brave furballs.

After the ship tour, we took the bus back to our hostel. We unpacked, had dinner… I’ll spare you the boring things. The exciting part is, we discovered a field where we could play volleyball. It was nearly evening when Ms Gaedt came and decided to play with us, too! She was very good. We persuaded Ms Hasenjäger to join us, and she did! We had so much fun! Have I already told you how much I enjoyed the Ozeaneum? I might have enjoyed our volleyball game even more!

Then we went to our rooms and slept. I slept very well, but I still felt a bit tired in the morning.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading my trip summary as much as I enjoyed writing it.

See ya!
Jette
